Rasei receives funding approval for cutting edge project.
We are delighted to announce that Rasei has been awarded a grant through the Niche Vehicle Network, empowering us to revolutionize the automotive landscape. The £20,000 grant serves as a validation of our commitment to innovation and transformative growth and enables us to take the next step in our conductive composites research.
This funding will be allocated to a key project that will propel our company forward. The main technical scope of the project is to gain a broader understanding of how signals can be sent through layers of a graphene enhanced carbon composite and how these signals can be connected to a vehicle to build on the fundamental science Rasei has already executed.
The key drivers for this project are to establish that automotive signals can be distributed through a vehicle’s carbon fibre body panels without the need for wiring looms or additional components. Being allocated this grant enables Rasei to continue its research into conductive composites and, through the completion of this project, demonstrate practical applications for our technology. Applying our patented technology to the automotive sector will result in significant weight reductions by the removal of various electrical elements and wiring looms. In turn, this will result in multiple benefits including:
